Welcome to the CARE4Change Coalition, a collaboration of (I)NGOS, advocates, organisations, and individuals  that share lessons and drive transformative change in Ethiopia around women’s economic empowerment (WEE) and the alleviation of women’s disproportionate share of unpaid care. The C4C coalition  aims to be a catalyst for turning policy rhetoric into impactful action. Committed to capturing evidence, fostering collaboration, and championing innovative policies, we spearhead a movement of equal distribution, empowerment, male engagement, recognition, and redistribution. Through networking with like-minded organisations, we are dedicated to dismantling barriers and bridging the gap between policy discourse and the reality faced by diverse women in Ethiopia.

Let’s foster a society that champions gender equality and wholeheartedly embraces the principles of women’s economic empowerment.

Vision

A thriving and inclusive Ethiopia where every woman and girl enjoys economic empowerment and exercises collective power and control over their lives.

  • Strengthening collaboration and growing the pool of in-country gender champions able to take evidence-based actions.
